Double Diamond & Lean UX

During my time at Verizon I used the Lean UX and the Double Diamond UX approach to rapidly create interactive wireframes, present to management and test wireframes until my leadership liked each and every function. Then I presented to the users to collect user feedback as well as held functional workshops where the users could come in, give feedback, ask quesitons and give their opinion to eliminate all pain points. After all users had given feedback I began to design the final UI.

The final hi-res version of the web application included marketing pieces which integrated into a Verizon news feed and provided new data  and creative artwork each week, quick access to the most important user documentation, instant access to quick request forms, data dashboards for management, external documentation and a help section which connected the users directly to technical support.

Leadership loved the design and users began to use the application and gave absollutely excellent feedback. It brought produciton up and reduce time users spent looking for documents or trying to find help.

Management saw what I had done and put me ina position to instruct all of the Verizon interns 2 years in a row which was a fantastic experience.
